Before you start

Step 1. Export your content from blooger
After installing wordpress you need to export your blog's content from blogger. Log into your blogger dashboard and go to Setiings>>Other page. Click on 'Back up Content' button in 'Import & back up section.
This will bring up a popup where you need to click on the ‘Save to your computer’ button.
Step 2. Import the data of blogger to wordpress
Next step is log into your WordPress blog admin. Go to your WordPress admin dashboard. Visit Tools>>Import present in extremely left of dashboard. Click on Blogger option.
Click on install button. This will bring you to a pop up menu for installing the require plugin. WordPress will now download and install the Blogger Importer plugin for you. Once it is finished installing, you have to click on the Activate Plugin and Run Importer link to continue.
Next, WordPress will ask you to upload XML file. The XML data that you export from blogger. Upload the downloaded data and click upload file.
WordPress imports blogger post one by one. You will be informed after successfully import of your posts. You can assign new author's name to your post, or create new author for all your new imported post.
Your are done!!! all your blogger post have been imported on to WordPress website. Now you can edit and update your new posts.
Sometimes your XML file exceed the limit of your maximum file upload. In this case you have to increase your maximum file upload limit.
